The Balearic Islands, culture history and charm: Menorca

Menorca, the wild one

Known for being the most unspoiled, it has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, its coasts offer a unique contrast while to the north there are red sand beaches and lunar landscapes to the south you can find coves with fine white sand and Caribbean-colored waters (like Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana, or Cala Turqueta).

The two main cities of the island are Mahón, which is the capital, located to the east, rising in one of the largest fjords in Europe, entering the port of Mahón is a unique and incredible experience, sailing along historic fortifications, small islands, and colonial villas.

During the journey, you can admire the Isla del Rey (which was an ancient military hospital from the 18th century and is now an international contemporary art gallery) and the Isla de Lazareto, which in the past was a quarantine area.

Marina Menorca

Manages mooring points distributed within the port, including the most sheltered and inner area of Sa Colársega (at the end of the port) and seasonal floating docks (pantalanes). It is an excellent solution for both standard pleasure boats and transits. It has mechanical workshops, shipyard services, and fuel supply.
